A Middle-earth Adventure using D&D 5e rules
In a hole in the ground, there lived a Hobbit. Dodinas Brandybuck to be precise; formerly of Buckland in the Shire, but now a resident of Wilderland. The hobbit is desperate and seeks your help. You and your companions find adventure outside Lake-town and are given the chance to discover why even the hardiest of adventurers shun the forest of Mirkwood and its depths.
This adventure takes place in T.A. 2947 in Wilderland during the time period between The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. This adventure is adapted from Cubicle 7’s Tales from the Wilderland. Cubicle 7 publishes The One Ring and their adventures takes place between The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings (roughly Third Age 2941-3018).
We will use D&D 5e with house-rules from http://www.zerohitpoints.com/Middle-Earth-for-DnD-5/. In the off-chance that the upcoming Middle-earth D&D game that Cubicle 7 is developing is out before the con (it is currently scheduled to release in the summer), we may use those rules instead. I’ll provide 3rd level pre-gen characters, but after con registration, we can trade emails and discuss other custom characters if you like.
I’ll post more information and links to the pre-gens and house rules around the time registration finishes.
