I’ve been chatting with my group about how we’d be interested in co-GM’ing a Gangbusters campaign at some point (but with different combat rules than the old TSR game, which is pretty dated). One thing that might be cool is to include a long-term crime investigation arc.

You’ve seen in the movies and TV shows how the detectives had a bulletin board with string connecting various clues they posted? The police (back in the day) actually used to use these. They called them a ‘link chart’, but these days people often refer to them as a ‘murder board’.

I’d love to use a physical murder board for a big case that spanned several sessions. Aside from the cool flavor it would add, it would be a unique and hopefully effective way to help players remember clues, names, dates, locations and such.
